Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Between the Oromo Research Association (ORA) and Net Technology
The Oromo Research Association (ORA) and Net Technology have formally entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on advancing the digital transformation of ORA’s research and publication services.
Under this agreement, Net Technology will design and develop a comprehensive digital software platform for the Association. The platform will include an online book publication (e-books) library mgt system, journal mgt system, Oromoo wikipedia, Repository mgt system and Researchers Network platform for ORA books, forums, and conference papers. This initiative seeks to enhance the accessibility, visibility, and dissemination of Oromo research and scholarship to the wider community through a modern online system.
The Memorandum of Understanding was officially signed on November 13, 2025, at the ORA Head Office, . The agreement was signed by Dr. Teferi Buzayahu and Ato Samson Hirpha on behalf of the Oromo Research Association and Net Technology respectively.
This partnership marks an important step toward strengthening ORA’s institutional capacity and ensuring that its scholarly outputs are easily accessible to researchers, students, and the public worldwide.
